How to study English Grammar with Vidya
Grammar is the backbone of the English paper in every class. It is not about memorising rules — it is about understanding how a sentence is built. Our course starts from parts of speech and goes step by step to transformation, error correction and writing. Each topic has a simple explanation, examples and practice questions.
1.Follow the order
Start with Foundation Grammar, then Intermediate, then Advanced. Each level uses ideas from the one before it.
2.Learn with examples
For every rule, write two sentences of your own. Your own sentences stay in memory far longer than copied ones.
3.Practise right after reading
Solve the MCQs immediately after reading a topic. Wrong answers show you exactly what to revise.
4.Use it in writing
Use the Writing Skills section to put grammar to work in letters, essays and précis.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Jumping to advanced topics before tense is clear.
- Memorising rules without practising sentences.
- Not revising old topics after learning new ones.
